Introduction

Founded in 1995, Marand Technical and Engineering College first offered an associate degree in Civil-Surveying. In 1996, the College added Civil-Concrete Structures courses to its offerings.

In 2018, Marand Technical and Engineering College moved from its initial campus to a new building in Marand. Currently, the old campus is served as a dormitory, sports, and laboratory complex. The new building has four floors, 14 classrooms, a management complex, four computer rooms, self-service, library and storage, four conference rooms, and places of worship and service. The College currently has an enrollment of about 900 students in both Associate and Bachelor’s degrees.

Today, the College offers three undergraduate degree programs in Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering and Fundamental Sciences. The College will continue to develop programs and provide excellent facilities that meet the needs of students and will continue to focus on the engineering needs of local cities.
